Rubber tracks are rubber and metal or composite fiber material circular tape, ground pressure and large traction, little vibration, low noise, good wet fields through sex, do not damage the road surface, quick speed, low quality, etc, can partly replace tires and steel tracks used in agricultural machinery, engineering machinery and transport vehicles to walk. Rubber crawler extends the application scope of crawler and wheeled walking machinery and overcomes all kinds of unfavorable terrain constraints on the mechanical operation. Bridgestone Japan took the lead in developing rubber tracks in 1968. The research and development of rubber tracks in China began in the late 1980s, and now it has formed mass production with more than 20 manufacturers. In the 1990s, Zhejiang Linhai Jinlilong Shoes Co., Ltd. developed the jointless production process of ring rubber track steel cord cloth and applied for a patent, which laid a foundation for China's rubber track industry to comprehensively improve product quality, reduce costs and expand production capacity. There is a small gap between the quality of our rubber tracks and that of foreign products, and there is a certain price advantage. This paper introduces the varieties, basic performance requirements, product design, and production process of rubber shoe belts.
Types of rubber tracks:
(1) According to the driving mode, the rubber crawler can be divided into wheel tooth type, wheel hole type, and rubber tooth drive (no core gold) type. The wheel-toothed rubber track is provided with a driving hole, and the driving teeth on the driving wheel are inserted into the driving hole to make the track move. The wheel hole rubber track has metal transmission teeth, which are inserted into the hole on the belt wheel to engage the transmission. Rubber tooth-driven rubber track adopts rubber bump instead of metal transmission parts. The inner surface of the track contacts with the surface of the driving wheel and drives by friction.
(2) Rubber tracks can be divided into agricultural machinery rubber tracks, construction machinery rubber tracks, transport vehicles rubber tracks, snow clearing vehicles rubber tracks, and military vehicles rubber tracks.
The basic performance requirements of rubber tracks: are traction, fall off the wheel, shock resistance, and durability. The traction of the rubber track is related to its tensile strength, shear strength, bandwidth, transverse rigidity, pitch and pattern block height, and also affected by road surface conditions and loads. Having a straight line and an elongated offset pattern on the sides
Rubber track traction performance is better. Wheelkeeping is mainly determined by driving wheel diameter, wheel configuration, and track guide length. Wheel tripping usually occurs between the driving wheel or tensioning wheel and the runner wheel. The torsion stiffness, transverse rigidity, longitudinal flexibility, pitch, and flange height of the rubber track also have an important influence on wheel holding. Eliminating vibration sources is an effective method to reduce vibration and noise. The vibration of the rubber track is related to pitch, runner configuration, the center of gravity position, rubber properties, and pattern block configuration. Durability is the ability of rubber tracks to resist wear, cutting, piercing, cracking, and breaking. At present, rubber tracks are still vulnerable parts, and the life of foreign advanced products is only about 10,000 km. In addition to the quality of transmission parts and traction parts, the performance of rubber material is an important factor affecting the durability of rubber belts. Adhesives should not only have good physical properties, dynamic properties, and weather aging resistance but also need to have excellent bonding properties. For some special purpose products, adhesives should also have salt-alkali resistance, oil resistance, cold resistance, and fire retardant, and other functions. Product design Rubber tracks are usually composed of core gold, a strong layer, a buffer layer, and rubber parts. At present, most rubber track manufacturers adopt the way of physical mapping and anatomical analysis to design the track products, and the theoretical mechanics, material mechanics, and finite element analysis, and application of rubber tracks are still in the initial stage.
